  1. Okay,Ruby is home and I bet her sparkle will come back once she settles in with her pack.

Give her rime to recuperate from being at that Vets for al ost a week. I’m sure that had an impact on the way she looks tonight.

She did eat, drink and pee so thatr really good! She probably ate very little there and probably didn’t drink much either!

She knows she’s home and that will lift her spirits after she regains some strength. I doubt she slept very well thereas it can be a pretty stressful enviornment.

I know during this whole time you’ve had no communication with anyone except maybe the Vet Tech the night she arrived (or maybe the next day).

So did you call today to check on her or did they call you today to give you an update?

I know you’re tired and your computer is acting up. After you rest up a bit and catch your breath, maybe you can share more of what’s going on and maybe we can help.

For now, just give Ruby a chance to recuperate after all her ordeal this week, and continue to spoil and snuggle on the couch!!

She’ll be feeling better after a little healing time at home with her pack.

    Lots of hugs

    1. y0u are c0rrect with everything y0u said I wi11 make a vide0 t0 answer y0u better since I can’t type it a11 out. CORRECT in everything. I will never take her back. (now my keyboard is trying to work so I will keep typing) The vet met me at a gas station off an exit from the HWY. she did drive her all the way to me last night. Not much was done for Ruby while she was there. Basically a waste of time for a week when she could have been home. I didn’t mind the seepage, I just didn’t want her to get an infection and then they discovered the staple in her still. yes. It hasn’t been at all fair for Ruby since the start of this. I never ever should have even taken her leg off. It didn’t matter. Now we are where we are and we must keep on living for the moment. Ruby is doing much better this morning. I took several videos and put them on Youtube. She is still really wore out and napping again this afternoon. They all are napping. Ruby is also eating really well since she has come home πŸ™‚ Not pizza yet, but meatloaf and potatos. Freshpet food and treats. She is getting back to normal now. No more doctors for us. Dr. S said that she will put her down when she is ready for it, but she isn’t ready yet. I think it will be free of charge and my friend and I are digging a hole out back to bury her in when the time comes. That way she is safe on the land and we all can go visit her when we go on walks. She loves it back there anyways. I’m being brave and strong, but not sure how long it will last. Eventually all this will catch up to us. For right now we are just loving life.

  2. updated with a vide0. i ca11ed t0day and they had dr ca11 me back she came back ear1y and t01d me that she w0u1d bring Ruby t0 me t0night we wi11 take this day by day!

  3. It’s probably just as well my post didn’t go through last night. The bottom li e though, I woukd NEVER take Ruby baxk there agai !!

They had her for almost a week because her incision was leaking. It was leaki g because they keft a staple in, right. You jad her back there just a bit ago because she helped in pain at the incision and no one siscovered the staple then

She was feeling fi e when you dropped her off last week.

YOU initiate a call hesterdsy fo check in her.

The Vet PERSONALLY drives her all the way tonyiur hiuse and tells you to take it “day by day”???? Is that right????

    WHAT THE BLEEP!?

    What tests did they do?

    Has the ince stopped leaking?

What care….if any….was she given this e tire week she was there?

I’m really trying to restrain myself, and not doing a very good job!!

Not sure why she came home in such bad shape, but I know being back home will do wonders for her!!

I’m sure being there exhaq her and was very stressful. She probably jad little sleep. And who knows if she even ste or drank much.

She looks tired in yiur video, maybe a little dehydrated, but she looks very content ro be home!!!

I loooooove your pack and how they all “checked in” on Ruby so gently.

Well, maybe except Pretzel! Pretzel had other things ro do!! That’s a big bark for a kittle dog!! πŸ™‚

If you do have any questions on further care to keep your Ruby comfortable, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE go to Dr Fipps and NEVER back to the other pkace again! Just a dose of fluids from him can do wonders to perk her ul!!

Give Ruby time to recuperate and catch up in her sleep and some really yummy food!! Lpts of @loving, spoiling and treats! PIZZA. IGHT!!! I would love to see videos/pictures of all of you sharing a gooey cheese pizza!! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY RUBY IS HOME πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ She’ll perk back up just by veing home and loved on by yiu and her pack πŸ™‚

    Lots of love and hugs!
