It’s a sad day

I woke up in tears today.  i think I have been too strong for too long.  I can’t even deal with today.  Not that anything is different.  Ruby is alright.  Everyone is happy in my pack except for me.  It’s a lot of things that have hit me all at once and I usually do not show my weakness.  Ruby and I are very much alike.

  1. That’s understandable. All the stress is just catching up with you.And you are just letting it all out!

I addressed it in my earlier post about refocusing. I think your mind is grasping it, but your body is still exhausted and drained! Don’t beat yourself for it, okay? Don’t over analyze it. It’s pretty darn normal after everything you’ve been through!!

And ya’ know what? NOTHING has been confirmed and it IS possible that the swelling around the incision is NOT a sarcoma. There is no proof one way or another.

So do what Ruby is doing. She’s just ignoring all the lumps and bumps and getting along just fine!!!

When you can, take some pictures of Ruby being her happy self and post. We ALL smile and feel happy when we see her! Include all the pack….they are all ADORABLE!

    Sending you lots of hugs!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

  2. You’re doing the best you can to care for your Ruby. How lucky she is to have you. Enjoy the time you get to have with her.

  3. You and the pack have been through so much, I can see why you feel sad and upset, confused and angry. You are doing all you possibly can for your girl and I hope that today’s appointment has some good news. Please keep us posted OK? We are keeping you in our thoughts.

  4. I cancelled the appointment today. I was too weak to go and discuss anything without bawling my eyes out. Instead, I stayed home and slept all day with Ruby.
