She was fine for the Vet all night. Didn’t make a peep about her pain. She is being sent home tonight with gabapentin and more tramadol. I paid her amputation bill also and will receive a copy of the final paid bill tonight. Let’s hope this entire process is coming to a close!!
I asked if she thought it might be plp and told her that I was reading a lot about it last night. She said I could read anything I wanted, but she didn’t know what caused her to yelp/cry like that. She said maybe her bone got caught on an inside suture and caused pain. She would send home medicines and asked for me to send money for the bill.
I don’t know. I just want the staples out and her on the way to a better furever.
Oh good!! Such a relief ro hear she’s doing well and coming home!!! 🙂 🙂
YAAAAAAAAAY FOR RUBY!!!
We want pictures of the homecoming!!!
Hugs!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Sending positive energy to you and Ruby <3 Welcome back home, sweetie.
Sooo glad to hear she’s coming home.
Keep in mind that many vets aren’t as familiar with pain management as they could be, so if you believe that Ruby’s pain is related to phantom limb pain you could very well be right. If it continues it’s best to find a vet who can help alleviate it. They’re out there! Let us know if we can help you with any referrals OK?
Best wishes to you both, we are so glad for the happy reunion!
Just checking in on Ruby to see how she’s doing!
Hoping all is well! 🙂
Ruby is doing really well! No pain, no yelping/crying, stitches are still snug and she hasn’t ripped any. No seepage. Finally healing the right way.
