Ruby is now home and already asleep on her new bed! She is very happy to be home. Staples are still in and she is leaking fluid a little, but it should stop soon. She gets the staples out next Monday. I would type more but my hand hurts too much today. I’ll post pics soon

When things settle down a bit, we REALLY need to maybe get you somewhere for a second opinion on that bleeding. I knkw funds are certainly an issue, but maybe you could at least get a one time phone consult with an Orthopedic Surgeon. You need to have the other Vet send you her records. That should not be a problem at all.
I hope Ruby is getting a really good welcome home dinner!!! She has to be tired of “hospital food”!!

Also if you want a second opinion I took Toby to MedVet in Indianapolis. Dr. Lucroy was his oncologist and Dr. Martin was the surgeon. I will warn you the visits are $150-$200 just to meet with them. I don’t know if they will do a phone consultation but it might be worth it to ask.
Hopefully everything will heal up just fine (for you and her) and you guys can get back to normal life. Then we can set up a tripawd play date. 🙂
