Six weeks Post Op just terrible

Ruby is in a dire situation now.  I do not believe she is going to survive this.  I meet with Dr. F tomorrow at 3pm.  ONLY for a consultation.  I asked for guidance.  I found a new lump on her back, in between her shoulder blades.  It hurts her, she cries when I even touch it.  It is hard and about the size of a nickle maybe.  It is not like that angry giant mass growing on her belly, but wow.  This is all really scary.

I’m angry.  I am seeking legal advice.  What do you do in a situation like we have been thrown into and what the hell just happened?  I feel lost.  I’m not even crying yet.  (last night I did, but that was because I was on the verge of euthanizing her)  I’m just mad.  I originally asked about her being put down when this all first started at Dr. T clinic two months ago.  Why has this just kept repeating itself… over and over?  to where they offer to fix it for nothing.  I have never heard of that in my life.   When it sounds too good to be true, it usually is too good to be true.

I have thought so long and hard.  I believe Ruby needs to just be a dog.  No more surgeries, live large for the moment.  Go for a walk and just be the “four haunted dogs” again.  She deserves to just live.

  1. The fact that you’re still same is a testament to your strength…..and Ruby’s too! You have every right to be angry, that’s for sure.

But as hard as it is, right now you need to put all that frustration and anger aside and just stay fully present with Ruby!

Euby is LIVING LARGE from one moment to the next! All that anger and frustration is keeping you from enjoying the present with Ruby!

I’m not saying to forget everything that’s happened…just to put it in a shelf for now so it doesn’t interfere with yirur time together with Ruby!

One thi g we all know, and you know, Ruby does not jave a timeframe stamped on her butt! When her earthly time is over, then you can grieve hard, you can use that anger and frustration to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again.

But for now make every day the best day ever…just like Ruby is!! Euby isn’t done yet, not by a long shot!!

Could you take Ruby with you to see Dr F just so he can look at the “lumps” ?

The lump in her neck, since it seems sore, could be related to wearing that darn cone for so long! And I’m serious….it really good be a boil or ingrown hair infected from the cone being rubbed all around for so long. They can make REALLY painful bumps!

Be sure and take the Pathology report and video the consultation like we talked about.

Were you able to get Dr S to send all her records?

Ruby is still so full of happiness and joy! She doesn’t think about everything she’s been through………..she just know she feels good now! She knkws she has been more loved bynyou than she ever he’s in her life!! 🙂

You know we are here for you! And we ALWAYS like seeing pictures of Ruby and her pack ! Take lots of lictures……..and make sure you hav lots of selfies with you and Ruby too!

    Love and hugs

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
