  1. You did a good job of videoing the lump. And Ruby certainly is a good girl.

I returned your call on the Helpline and look forward to talking with you when you get home. As you know, we are not Vets and never give Vet advice.

I know it’s hard to do, but for now I would just leave it alone. Ruby is doing great.

For your own peace of mind though, go ahead and get with your REGULAR Vet so you can get some reassurance! If there is any issue that needs to be addressed, they will get it handled.

We all let our minds go crazy always thinking the worst or this journey, and almost always things are never as bad as we imagined!!

Your regular Vet sounds like he (or she?) is more than willing to help you out. With all the surgeries Ruby has been through and all the stitches in for so long, it could certainly be related to that. They may suggest cold compresses to help. But don’t do any of that unless they suggest it, okay? They’ll have some answers for you!

Alrighty, give that sweet girl some smooches for us! It’s wonderful to see her looking so happy 🙂

    Love and hugs

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

  2. Hmm. Good job paying attention to the worrisome spot. It’s definitely a good idea to talk with your regular vet and have them take a look. It’s most likely nothing but better to have experienced eyes and hands examine the area. Let us know what they say OK?
